The holidays are approaching very fast. It is time for quick and charming gift knits. This pattern will be a very fast and darling gift for a friend or a daughter. One could accomplish it in just a couple of days. The heavier yarn and the larger size needles make the fabric grow rather fast and the changing geometric pattern keeps you engaged and excited to see it done.

The design for this capelet was inspired by the shallow ocean waves of the low tide. They form geometrical shapes when they run over each other. The color of the yarn was a perfect complement for the idea. This pattern will look beautiful in any color of the yarn, since it yields a nice geometrical flow. The aran weight yarn and needles of a larger size make this project an “instant gratification” knit.

This pattern has been test knitted.
