Ocean Waves
Have you ever wanted to try knitting an afterthought heel? If so this is the perfect pattern for you. Ocean Waves are toe up with an afterthought heel. This pattern does not require you to cut your sock.
There are a couple of reasons why I love toe up socks. The first is the fit, I always find the afterthought heel has a little more give and is therefore more comfortable. The second is that I don’t have to worry about running out of yarn halfway down the second sock. I recommend knitting your socks at the same time one from each ball. This way you can make them as long as you like.
Happy Knitting!
