This crocheted square throw was designed for the #10122 Hayfield Bonus DK brochure for Sirdar. Using British crochet terms and charts, the blanket features octagon and square shapes being worked in pieces and joined together in 3 colourways. Charts are included for each square type, and a schematic shows both placement and colour combination of each square. The instructions for each square also include every needed colour combination. A diagram is included on the Magic Ring technique.

TENSION

• 20cm / 8” octagon measured side by side AND
• 1 square 10cm / 4inches measured side by side on 4.0mm hook or the size required to give correct tension.
• The pattern lists USA F hook as the equivalent of 4.00mm.
  Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
