Inspired by magic crackling and zig zagging across the sky, the lace zig-zag pattern runs down the front of both socks, only a really powerful wizard could cause the zig-zag lace and cable motif which blazes down the back of the sock.

The yarn is a greenish purple - the colour of magic.

This was the first pattern from the ‘When Granny Weatherwax Knits Socks’ Club
