Octavia’s big and puffy cables create lots of tiny air pockets to produce a warm poncho which is a perfect layer for chilly days. The feminine neckline and simplistic bottom edge add to the curvaceous and beautiful design. This poncho is knit using bulky yarn so it is a quick knit. It is easy to adjust the length and notes are provided for doing so. The stitches used are perfect for a beginner. Stitches change frequently enough that intermediate and advanced knitters will be able to knit this very quickly without tedium.

Using my original A-line cable poncho pattern, I made modifications for a different neckline, cable development, poncho shape and garment length. This pattern quickly increases the stitch count at the beginning and then maintains the stitch count to create a lovely and roomy poncho.
