This can be made in any yarn, just use 1-2 hook sizes smaller than the recommended hook for that yarn – the smaller the yarn gets the smaller the toy gets. Insert cat nip into the bottom opening and if you would like it closed just tie a couple of the tentacles on opposite sides of the hole together.

This also has been tested on small to medium dogs (under 50lbs) and has done well with wear and tear.
