With a simple garter base and an added lace border, this fun scarf or shawlette will become a favorite piece to slip on when the heat of summer gives way to the cool, crisp breezes of October.
Scarf is shown in Briar (purple) and Shawlette is shown in Fog (dark teal).
- 1 (2) skeins of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light or 400 (500) yards of fingering weight wool
- US 6 (4.0mm) 24” (60 cm) or longer circular needles, or size to obtain gauge
- Stitch markers (optional)
- Tapestry needle
Experienced: requires the use of several increases and decreases, charted lace patterns, and a non-standard bind off (explained in pattern)
