Crocheted in Windy Valley’s Suri Alpaca yarn, the October Shawl, crochet version, has a sleeve on one side to keep it in place. You can decide how closely to wrap it, making it flexible in style as well as size.

Sizes: O/S
Finished Measurements: outer edge, 135”; height, 20”; sleeve length, 11” from underarm

Techniques used include: working in the round, lace edge

Yarn: Windy Valley Muskox, Suri Alpaca, 218 yds, 1 oz (28.5 gm) per skein: 6 skeins, color 3026 Pale Sage

Hooks: size J (10 -6.0mm)

Gauge: 14 sts = 4” (10 cm) in linked double crochet
Take time to save time: crochet a gauge swatch!

While sleeve is worked in the round, the shawl is worked back and forth in rows. Turn after every row.
