This is an easy pattern to follow, but there is a need of basic notion of crochet. You should be familiar with:

Materials:

1) Octopus
❤ Drops Muskat (100% cotton) or similar (1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 109 yds (100 m); Yarn Group: B / 8 ply / DK / worsted)
❤ 3.00 mm crochet hook

2) Accessories (Flower, Bowtie, Crown)
❤ Drops Safran (100% cotton) or similar (1.8 oz (50 g) = approx 175 yds (160 m); Yarn Group: A / 5 ply / Sport
❤ 2.00 mm crochet hook

❤ Fiberfill;
❤ Black embroidery thread;
❤ Tapestry needle; Pins; Stitch markers; scissor.

Feel free to use any type of cotton yarn and hook adjusted to the yarn and tension. Using the same materials, the size of the octopus will be 19 cm (7.08”), the head is about 7 cm (2.76”) and the tentacles about 12 cm (4.72”) and when they are stretched is about 19 cm (7.48”).
