Rauma finull and knitting needles number 3. I knit tightly .Gauge is 36 stitcjes for 40 rows but keep in mind that the yarn constrict more with 2 colors.
A skein of each color, 50 gram balls, and scarp yarn if you want to knit symbols and the number of year in a third color.
There are 2 different charts, one for each hand. It was fun to knit, never tired of the pattern.
Odin with his ravens and Tor with the goats and the hammer. Even symbols. On Odin’s coat and the back of the glove is the symbol of eternity, infinity. On Thors chart, wheel, life and sun.
The back also has knitted number of year, is with a small chart with numbers on.
Thumbs, I have done one color, you want to make the same pattern as the back ,inserting a few extra stitches so thumbs get bigger.
I’ve knitted intarsia on the extra color .
Runes around the mitten is like this: ‘Tor Odin and Hugin Munin on mittens“
