A semi circular shawl using double sided lace, and a tabbed cast on. The shawl was designed to celebrate Mother’s Day for the Spartickes Dyes Yarn Club
It features a tulip styled motif through the main part of the body of the shawl and a leaf edging that is knit at a right angle to the main body of the shawl. - no need to pick up stitches or sew the border on later and only 10 stitches to cast off at the end.
The pattern includes both charted and written directions, as well as photos for the edging.
