This is a great amigurumi pattern featuring the endangered Okapi (Okapi johnstonii), an endangered species from the Congo mountain forests. They are in the giraffe family, and though they have stripes resembling a zebra they have no recent relation to them. The stripes are for camouflage in the deep jungle.. This pattern is a beginner to intermediate pattern with lots of different principles of crochet included. You will be making 4 legs, a body, a head, ears and the face markings. You will need white, brown and black yarn 16 gauge wire and wire cutters (optional if you want it wired and able to pose), 6mm eyeballs, stuffing and an embroidery needle. Lots of explanatory pictures and tips and tricks inside!

This is a PDF file, not an actual okapi or a paper pattern.
