Kits are available now from Earthfaire in their exclusive colorways of Dragon Fire, Impressionist Sunrise, Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and Neptune’s Garden. Each kit include enough yarn for the small and all the beads needed. Eairthfaire will also have a special kit with beads and yarn prepared for you if you choose another Unique Sheep colorway, though there may be more of a wait for a custom dye.

Yarn-The Unique Sheep Eos gradient 1800/2000 yards. If special ordering from The Unique Sheep or Earthfaire you will need to order 1oz of your center color, 1oz of your second color, 2oz of your third color and 3oz of your outside color for a small and 1oz/2oz/3oz/4oz for a large
Needles: A US size 4 needle or size needed to obtain gauge of 6 stitches per inch in stockinette. You will need a cable at least 32 inches long. A US size 7 needle to bind off.

Fingering weight shawl/blanket
Yarn-Malabrigo Sock, 2200 yards for a small, 2500 yards for a large, or a similar fingering weight yarn.
Needles: A US size 5 needle or size needed to obtain a gauge of 5.5 stitches per inch in stockinette. You will need a cable at least 40 inches long. A US size 8 needle to bind off.

Worsted weight blanket

Yarn: Malabrigo Rios, 2000 yards for small, 2500 yards for a large, or a similar worsted weight yarn.
Needles: A US size 9 needle or size needed to obtain a gauge of 4.5 stitches per inch in stockinette. You will need a cable at least 60 inches long. A US size 13 needle to bind off.

Other Materials: You will need at least 1200 beads for the small and 2200 beads for the large (optional)
