Here is a lovely asymmetric lace wrap that takes just 2 x 100g hanks of 4-ply. Its finished size is 78cm wide at cast on and 127cm measured along the side edge, giving a wingspan of 149cm.

Knitted in one of Hawkshaw Sheep’s 4ply yarns, Storm Clouds, the lace pattern is based on garter stitch so won’t curl, and is suitable for an advanced beginner (I love lace patterns that are purl on the wrong side).
