Fabulously cosy socks with sweet pompoms, perfect for lounging around the house, keeping your feet nice and warm during the cold winter’s evenings.

The lace part of the sock is worked flat after which the sock is worked in the rounds. These socks are knit from cuff down, with a tradition heel flap and heel turn. It’s a great pattern for a beginner sock knitter, and a fun quick knit for more advanced sock knitters.

You will need:
2 x Rowan Creative Focus
I have used above yarn, but any worsted yarn will be fine to use for these socks, taking into account that different fibers result in different finished effect. You will need between 280-330m/310-360yr.
4mm (US 6/ UK 8) knitting needles
4mm (US 6/ UK 8) double pointed needles (DPNs)
4 x stitch markers

Finished size
To fit woman’s UK shoe sizes 5/6 -7/8, finished foot length: 22, 23 cm (8.6, 9 in)
However, the length of foot is adjustable to fit any adult size (instructions given). The cuff when folded measures approximately 7cm (3in).
