This is really a simple rectangle with seed stitch borders. It is a good piece for learning or practicing intarsia. While the instructions include directions for lining the piece with fabric (in my case faux fur) the cape would work equally well without a lining.

It was designed not only to answer my daughter’s request, but to do a little stash busting.
