The On A Whim Cowl was created just like that, on a whim.

I saw some pretty shapes that I thought would look good in a colourwork cowl. So I put two of them together and voila, cowl.

It took me about 8.5 hours of knitting to make, so it’s quick too. Perfect for an “on the whim” last minute gift!

Note: the pattern is worked in multiples of 30 sts and a couple of people have suggested casting on 150 sts if you’re usually a tight knitter. This will naturally use up more yarn but has not been tested.

~ 1 x skein of Fated Yarns Washford (100% Superwash Merino Wool/ 100g / 225m) - Main Colour uses approximately 55g
