Do you hear that sound? That’s the sound of knitters across the world warming up their needles and taking inventory on their stashes, because it’s time to announce the theme for the 2021 Geek-A-Long Sweater!!! This one has been years in the making, and I feel safe telling you that it’s my most ambitious design project to date. Charting and grading took nearly three months to complete, and the design itself is something Jac and I have been kicking around the mental abandoned lot that is our creative process for a couple of years. I’m thrilled to tell you that the finished sweater is the most amazing thing I have ever created.

On Board is worked in double knitting from the bottom up, and features simple raglan shaping on the yoke. The result is a heavy weight cardigan -really more of a jacket!- with roomy sleeves and a unisex silhouette.
