Create a stunning combination of 60s psychedelia and baroque crochet, embroidery and weaving, perhaps combining skills old and new. Float away on peacock shades of turquoise and vivid greens set against cherry reds and pinks, and introduce a colour pop of lime and a tassel or two to keep the good times going.

Pattern notes
Wall Hanging consists of Base Fabric section, worked back and forth in rows, which is then embellished with surface crochet, embroidery, weaving and pompoms. Wooden dowel is attached for hanging to finish. Refer to photos and Schematics throughout for guidance. For Base Fabric, work alternate rows in front and back lps to create decorative ridges into which embellishments are worked at end. Following (1tr, ch1, 1tr) reps, take care not to sk next st which may be partially hidden. Ensure (1tr, ch1, 1tr) reps sit directly above each other. These are worked into chs, not ch-sps. When working fourth and sixth row reps, chevron effect will be less obvious but this will correct itself in subsequent rows.
Cc in last st of Row 3 and every following third row as folls: yoh, insert hook in st, yoh, pull up lp, yoh, draw through two lps in prev colour, yoh in new colour and draw new colour through all lps. Fasten off prev colour. Keep yarns taut when changing colour to create an even, parallel grid to weave into later.
