The K1b stitch pattern breaks up the typical variegated patterning. On the Easy Side is made with just one hand-painted yarn; columns are formed here and there when yarn segments of the same color meet along the way.

Splice your yarn as you go; you will have no ends to sew in, and the sweater will be reversible.
