Do you have leftover yarns that call to be knitted? This shawlette works up quickly (think social knitting) and uses up those those bits and bobs (about 250 yards of each fingering weight colorway and 150 yards for the trim OR 650 yards of laceweight held double) that beg to be knitted. There is just enough lace to make it interesting! What combination will you create?

Enjoying the sunset one evening on the Potomac River, I glimpsed the Woodrow Wilson Bridge against an orange/pink sky. When I returned home that evening, I decided to knit lace that would ressemble the bridge’s trestles, as to remember that lovely moment.
