Kristeen says about this knitted skirt- “For me, designing a knitted skirt involves equal parts desire and dismay. Enter fulling-a meeting of wool, hot water, and friction-and voilà a fabric is transformed. Purled stitches, lightly fulled, yielded a most satisfying texture, and the rough-hewn nature of the garment was further reinforced by the leaf appliqués and the decidedly naïve stitchery at the edges.”
