This “one-piece” mitten starts at the cuff on the palm side, knits up to the thumb. Thumb is knitted, decrease to shape, then increase and knitted until double, then folded over. Then you pick up the palm stitches, finish and decrease/shape the top of the palm side, then INCREASE, knit the back of the mitten down to the cuff. Lastly, seam the thumb and mitten sides.
