The yarn is SOOO cuddly but a little bit heavy for babies so seamless styling of the coat torso is used to reduce bulk. The result is a really easy cardigan that is still cute and cuddly.

YARN, GAUGE AND MACHINE: No ribber is required so any bulky including the Bond can make this sweater. Lion Brand Organic Cotton is the main yarn. Stitch size 10 for most machines and keyplate 4 for Bonds should produce a gauge, after washing, of 13 stitches/21 rows per 4 inches. A contrasting color of worsted weight yarn is needed for the trim. The yarn pills a little if machine washed so hand washing is suggested. The first size takes 2 skeins. Larger sizes may need 3. A small amount of contrasting worsted weight acrylic yarn is needed. SIZES: FINISHED CHEST: 19, 20, 21, 22” FINISHED LENGTH 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5
