Spring cleaning is here! And this One Row Scrapghan is the perfect way to clear out all of those half-used skeins of yarn. You can carefully plan out your color changes, or do like I did: place all of the balls of yarn in a plastic bin, close your eyes, reach in a grab a ball for a totally random color scheme. :)

After you’ve knit a few rows of border, the One Row Scrapghan uses (you guessed it!) a one row pattern to create a beautiful and functional throw. The easy one row pattern makes this a great project to knit while watching the kids’ soccer games or while watching tv. It is so much fun to cuddle up with this blanket and recall the original projects you created with each of the different colored yarns.

This pattern is knit on Authentic Knitting Board’s 28” knitting board with extenders. It can also be knit as written on AKB’s Afghan loom. This pattern can also be knit on any 1/2” gauge loom with a minimum of 137 pegs.

The one row pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner.
