This lace scarf is designed to use just 50g fingering/sock weight yarn and show off the lovely colorways that are available. This sample scarf is knitted with KnitPicks Chroma fingering, color ‘Galapagos’.

In order for the scarf to lay flat and not fold at the center line, the hearts alternate between stockinette and reverse stockinette. This also means that the scarf is quite reversible. It does make for a slightly more complicated pattern though and so I have rated this advanced intermediate, though I’m sure if you have knitted lace before you could give it a try.
