This scarf is designed to show off the lovely colorways in sock weight yarn, and also to do it with just one 50g ball. The sample uses 50g of Knitpicks Chroma fingering, colorway ‘Galapagos’

This is only a 2 row repeat lace pattern and as such would be a good choice for someone who is just learning to knit lace.

The lace stitch causes one end to wave more than the other. If you are concerned about that you can start from the bottom border twice, knitting 2 25g lengths, ending each on row 1 of the pattern, and then kitchener stitch them together, but it is not necessary.
