One-Skein Tapestry Scarf
There have been some questions about why the ends of this scarf do not look the same, so here’s a little insight:
As is the nature of any “feather and fan” type of stitch pattern, the ends will not turn out the same. If you look closely, one end will have two scallops, or points, and the other end will look like the converse of the scalloped end.
If you wanted your two ends to look the same, you would need to knit halfway through the scarf, put the stitches on hold, cast on and knit the other half, then graft the two halves together at the back neck. Then you would have two matching bottoms.
