Pattern is worked in 3 colors with majority of yardage being consumed equally by2 of the three colors. Remaining color serves as accent. Worked on circular needles in the round changing to dpns as the top shaping grows very narrow.

“About 4 ounces (112 g) various worsted weight yarns will make most of the hats in this book. The Angela hats will need about 5 ounces (140 g); the domes, stacks, and stars, about 6 ounces (168 g) each. To estimate how much of each color is neccessary, count on 2 yards (1.8 m) of each color for each stranded round or 4 yards (3.6 m) for a single color round.”
