The inspiration for the exclusive yarn colors created by Rising Tide Fiber Co. was a photograph of the world’s largest jellyfish. I wanted to capture its tentacles and the ocean waves in my design.

I named the pattern after the Only the Ocean song by Jack Johnson. The acoustic guitar and the gentle lyrics evoke a calm afternoon by the water. I hope you can imagine this serene scene as you knit.

With two contrasting skeins of DK weight yarn, you will be able to make two hats - just switch the colors for the second one.
