Description from pattern:

“This dainty jumper is knitted in a fascinating star pattern, each ‘star’ being embroidered with a contrasting satin-stitch spot in its centre. The square-necked yoke and the sleeves are in moss-stitch”.

Pattern is vintage - sizing given as follows:

“All round underarms, 34 inches, stretching to 36 inches; length from shoulder, 20 1/2 inches; short sleeve seam, 4 1/2 inches; long sleeve seam, 18 1/2 inches”.

Vintage needle sizes given as 1 set of no. 10 and one of no. 13, plus one ‘medium-size’ crochet hook; worked in 3-ply yarn substitute modern 4-ply and check tension - over star pattern = 15 stitches to 2 inches; 10 rows to 1 inch.
