This bonnet is knitted using lightweight baby merino yarn using basic stitches to create an openwork lacey design. This pattern can be knit by a beginner as very detailed instructions are given. Option for knitting the crown both in the round and flat, and there are many options for different tie styles: plain, braided, knit ties, and knit lace ties. A very simple crochet border is used to clean up the edges.
