These mitts are so cute with their knitted in optical illusion. They are a match to my “Optics” cowl, also on ravelry.com! Great for gifts, they work up quickly and can be worn by female and male hands. (For a bigger hand, use a light worsted and size US 6 needles.)

The colorwork is charted and easy to read with complete instructions included for working from the chart.

Needles used are 6” or 8” double pointed knitting needles. Yarn is dk (even though Cascade calls the yarn sport - it knits to dk gauge) and is soft and washable; perfect for gifts. This would work up great in other colors also, just be sure to have good contrast between colors you choose.
