While designing the Opulence mittens I decided that I needed to make another pair that didn’t incorporate lace for those who want something a little more practical. These mittens feature the same beautiful cable design and have a seed stitch cuff. They are knit in the round and have an afterthought thumb.

Materials
Two skeins Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Lava Heather (110 yards each skein)
5 size US 6 (4.25 mm) Double Pointed Needles (DPN)
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
20 stitches X 25 rows= 4X4 inches in stockinette stitch
