Opuntia features two vintage stitch patterns for the main body and edging for a delicate vintage look.
The ombre pattern in the beads (from light to dark) adds a contemporary touch. You can go subtle, as shown, or pick more colorful beads for a more striking appearance.

Pattern Notes
This shawl begins with a garter stitch tab. If you prefer, cast on rather than provisionally cast on and simply pick up 3 sts along the cast on edge.

Increases are worked as charted every RS row on either edge and on either side of the spine pattern. The edging is knit on, joined to the live stitches of the body of the shawl.

Refer to Bead Color Placement chart for bead colors for each pattern repeat.
