This pattern is available for £3.00.

To purchase this pattern, go to Opus Cowls set E book (two patterns for the price of one).

This is a 4ply cowl in ripple stitch. It can be made from self-striping yarn, or a scrap ball of leftovers or mini-skeins of approx 10g each. The cowl measurement is adjustable in width and circumference. The fabric has a folksy appearance which is part of the character of this piece. Opus 3201 is worked in the round, giving a horizontal ripple stitch stripe.

The pattern includes an adaptation for beginners’ thick-and-thin handspun yarn.

The dimensions of the cowl when blocked are approx circumference 44in (112cm); width 9in (23cm).
