The yarns will be crocheted held double throughout, combining two colors in either a silk/mohair or silk/silk mix.
The silk yarn is naturally textured, the effect of this in the scarf will be lessened by doubling the yarn.
When selecting colors to combine use your own preferences to guide you, each scarf will be unique. I tend to choose 2 colors that match closely giving me many variations that make this work more personal.
Vary the values of light/medium/dark to make it shine.

Reading your work and counting stitches can be difficult because of the texture of the yarn and the mixing of colors. Don’t worry about an odd stitch less or more.
This scarf in 100% silk will be very light and warm.

Constructing the scarf:

The scarf is made up of a central checkered panel of plain diamonds with a point each end of granny diamonds, two lateral borders of edged granny diamonds and a finishing crochet border right round.
The three diamond motifs are charted.
