This beanie is worked in the round (with w&t rows) using intarsia technique and features three segments in orange, yellow and green with motifs of an orange, lemon and lime.

Instructions are given for head sizes S 21” (53 cm), M 22” (56 cm) and L 23” (58 cm).

Yarn:
For the hat, DK weight yarn, or fingering weight held double.
C1 (color 1) used for band also, DK: 46 yds (42 m), 51 yds (46.6m), 57 yds (52m)
C2 (color 2) and C3 (color 3): DK: 30 yds (27 m), 35 yds (32m), 42 yds (38.5m)
Fingering: double the DK amount

For the fruit, fingering weight yarn, approximately 12 yds (11 m) of each color.

Gauge:
Gauge needed is 20 sts and 24 rows / 4” (10 cm) over unblocked stockinette for the beanie. Note that row gauge is not critical.
Gauge for the fruit is not important so long as it has a tight enough weave that the stuffing does not show through.
