This chunky sweater is worked in one deceptively simple piece, beginning at the lower front edge, then upward to the shoulders and down to the lower back, with stitches added (then subtracted) for the sleeves along the way. Cable crosses define the orbital boundary between the stockinette-stitch body and reverse stockinette-stitch sleeves and yoke, and give the illusion of a much more complicated design and knitting process.

16” and 31” circular needles.
