This pleated jacket is worked in one piece up to the armholes, at which point the fronts and back are worked. The three buttons are close to each other at the neckline. The sleeves, collar, and cuffs are all worked separately. The collar and cuffs are embroidered with French knots, and then everything is blocked and sewn together.

Calls for 4 skeins (at 1 ounce each) of Chadwick’s Red Heart Nylon, 3ply, Art. E.260, and a few extra yards of scraps for embroidery. Yardage is an estimate based on Coats & Clark Nylon yarn.

Also needed: 3 buttons and a snap.
