Pattern Description

This easy to knit outerwear vest with pockets is a favorite for the whole family. Zippered front clusure. Knit in heavy worsted, chunky, or superbulky weight yarn. Adult sizes 38 to 53 inches at bust/chest.

Yarn Requirements

Pattern may be knit in either heavy worsted weight, chunky weight, or superbulky yarn.

Materials for heavy worsted weight yarn: 695 (750, 800, 850, 900, 955) yards heavy worsted weight yarn
Knitting needles sizes 7 & 9 (US)
(Circular needles are recommended for the larger size needle.)
1 24” separating zipper
4 stitch holders; 1 extra knitting needle size 9 or 10
Gauge: 18 sts., 24 rows = 4” on larger needles in stockinette st.

Materials for chunky weight yarn: 535-740 yards chunky weight yarn, US 9 and 10.5 needles. Gauge 3.5 stitches per inch.

Materials for superbulky weight yarn: 410-570 yards superbulky yarn, US 11 and 13 needles. Gauge 2.5 stitches per inch.
