This oversized granny square blanket uses any basic granny square pattern (there is a link to an online pattern on the blog post for this design). I used 2 balls in each shade, working in a sequence: Blue, grey, cream. grey, blue, grey, cream.
You can substitute any yarn for this project, which works up much more quickly than a traditional granny square blanket and with no joining up of motifs!
