This pattern shows you how to knit a fitted diaper that brings together all that there is for cloth-like diapers: fitted, absorbent, quick dry, cute and one piece all into one design. The diaper is knitted flat in a garter stitch for the majority of the make up, making it a relatively quick knit. The unique butterfly doubler is specially designed for absorbency. The caterpillar is knitted in most of the diaper sizes, making this a one piece diaper design. Wash, dry, and wear! The ribbed waistband is made up in a 2x2 pattern knitted with crochet cotton to control stretch. The gussets include short rows to make this diaper a fitted that doesn’t require any elastic. This pattern is for the advanced knitter. Basic diaper construction is helpful. This diaper is a small project, functional, cute, stretchy, and 100% cotton.

There are pages of picture tutorial in this pattern to help in construction. Price includes seller’s rights as well as any personal one-on-one help needed for any difficulties one may have in construction.

This pattern is for ADVANCED knitters, however, if you decided to challenge yourself, and find yourself stuck, be sure to message me, which will also appear in my email inbox. I will walk you through it via PM, IM, or by phone call. I would like all my diapering mamas enjoy their KBD diapers, and will do everything I can to help you get the 1st one made, so as to get to a 2nd, which is much easier after you have successfully made your first.
