This pattern now sized for baby as well as Adult. Yarn and needles listed above are for adult hat.

For baby hat, use any sock yarn (I like Ellen’s Half Pint Farm Merino or Merino/Bamboo). You will need about 1 ounce (29 grams)

Needles: 2.5mm (US 1) double-pointed needles, or the correct size to achieve gauge.

Gauge: 24 stitches = 2.75” in Oriel lace pattern before blocking

Sizing: Infant
Finished hat circumference: 16” after blocking
