Origami Blanket MAL
On June 21st the Origami Blanket MAL will start! I welcome you all to join in the fun of crocheting this colourful blanket together. It’s an informal type of MAL, and I encourage you get creative and make up your own colourway or version of this blanket. It’s always good to have kindred spirits around to help you complete a large project, so the MAL will be hosted in my Haak Maar Raak Community on Facebook. In this group you can share your progress, find support and chat about your projects. The MAL will run for 8 weeks, but don’t feel pressured and finish your project at your own pace.

The free pattern will be available as soon as the MAL starts. If you can’t wait to get started, the printable PDF is already available for a small fee. You can find all info on colourways on my blog here.

Origami Blanket
The Origami Blanket brings your favourite colour combinations to life! The two-toned squares are arranged in such a way that a beautiful and vivid gradient emerges The resulting blanket is soft, supple and comfortably big. The pattern is written in US terms, and contains a written pattern, photo tutorials, crochet diagrams and schematics. It’s suitable for advanced beginners.

The original blanket is made with Scheepjes Metropolis, a fingering weight, 75% merino wool 25% nylon sock yarn. I’ve also created two colourways in Scheepjes Colour Crafter, an affordable 100% Acrylic yarn.
