This is a super easy hat, knit entirely in the round with no increasing or decreasing.

Instructions are given to help you make the hat to fit you based on your measurements and gauge. A reference chart is included so you can make the hat for someone you can’t measure, either because they’re not nearby or you want to surprise them (stealth knitting!) I include the actual numbers I used to make my adult medium hat.

JANUARY 2017 UPDATE: Want to make a pussyhat? Use this pattern, but when you’re done, don’t turn up the corners or sew on a button. Voila!
