Origin is a Fingering (4ply) shawl that features a garter stitch and eyelet body that develop into a diamond lace in a contrasting colour for a decorative border. It was inspired by the vision behind the featured yarn which is grown, processed, and dyed in Australia and serves as a reminder that who we are, and become, is connected both to the land and the people of the past.

This pattern contains full written instructions, charts, and a tick-sheet.

Yarn
MC (most variegated): 100g Fingering (4ply) weight yarn (sample used 73g Great Southern Yarn Fingering which is 320m/350y per 100g/3.53oz col. Jean Isherwood)
