This wonderful Swedish name has two separate elements, “Os” which means Deer, and “Car” which means friend or loving. Essentially, the moniker translates to “friend of deer”. Jul is Swedish for Christmas, traditionally celebrated on December 24.
Oscar stands approximately 9: tall, is worked from the feet up in one piece and the arms are added as the body is worked. He’s also wearing a stripped Onsie with a red trap door bottom, Bib with embroidered snowflake, a long red hat with furry white pom pom and holds a binkie in his hand.
