The Oslo Hat combines old-world colorwork with modern, functional design. Traditional Scandinavian stripes decorate the crown and the earflaps, and a broad diamond border visually enhances the brim. The earflaps are worked individually and then joined at the hat cast-on.

Difficulty Intermediate

Finished Size 22.5” circumference and 7.5” tall, excluding earflaps.

Yarn Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted (100% highland wool): #1302 gravel road (tan; MC) and #1306 wild thyme (green; CC), 1 skein each.

Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16” circular and set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers; removable m; stitch holder; tapestry needle.

Gauge 28 sts and 50 rows = 4” in Slip st patt; 25 sts and 25 rnds = 4” in charted patt.
