UPDATE: This pattern is currently being re-tested to remove the errors, as well as adding in more complete notes, and warnings where the asymmetry occurs. It seems many folks are having issues around Row 21, so I am revisiting it with the aid of a few wonderful folks. There will also be a chart available to help clarify the stitch pattern. I thank you for your patience, and I also reiterate that if you are having trouble with this pattern, PLEASE contact me! The more information I have, the better and easier it will be for me (or any other designer, for that matter) to fix the problem.

This pattern may now be accessed at my newest blog: homegrownandhomespun, Ostrich Feather Fandango Shawl Pattern. Please be certain to read all the notes on that page before endeavoring to attempt the pattern. I’ve had several people complain because it is not truly symmetrical, among other things (though the finished project looks symmetrical!). Once you reach Rows 15 or 16, it then turns into a 5-6 row repeat, thereby making it a bit more challenging. If you are a visual person, the pattern will be very easy to figure out as far as placing the various shells.

Also, if you have questions regarding this pattern, please feel free to contact me via the email address given on the pattern page, as I cannot always access Ravelry during the daytime. Thank you. :)
